In regards to high school transcripts, the UW supposedly not only requires them, but needs them to ensure that applicants have fulfilled the core requirements of the college. Is this implying that someone with a GED most likely does not qualify for admission into UW?
I never graduated from high school, and I dropped at when I only had 1 credit, so I can't possibly qualify if this is the case. However, this doesn't accurately reflect my current situation: I have a very good GPA, I'm working on getting a year's worth of foreign language, and I will soon fulfill the math requirements for UW (as from my understanding, these are qualifiers for applicants). Thus, I don't really see how a high school transcript showing my "core requirements" would be necessary in this case.
This is extremely frustrating because I have planned on attending this college for almost the past year now and, even after doing extensive research into the admission requirements, I had no idea high school transcripts were relevant to the application process.
Does anyone know anything about this, or know who I should call at UW to get my answer? I would have called today, but, since it's Sunday, I assumed most offices are closed.
Thanks in advance for your help.
