Call for student representatives to help plan UW Student Genomics Forum
with Francis Collins of the National Human Genome Research Institute.
The University of Washington is hosting a regional Community Genetics
Forum on May 20-21, 2005. Dr. Francis Collins, Director of the National
Human Genome Reseach Institute will be attending the Forum and wants to
meet with a group of graduate and undergraduate students on the afternoon
of Friday, May 20th for a Student Genomics Forum.
The event planning committee is forming a student advisory committee to
provide input. We are seeking a student representative from your
department or program to participate in this process. Student advisory
committee members will be asked to:
1. Attend and participate in periodic planning meetings every two or three weeks.
2. Keep fellow students informed about the upcoming events and encourage participation
3. Participate in the Student Genomics Forum on May 20th.
