Time:11:26 am.
Please join us in celebrating our 3rd annual Transgender Awareness Week! **Transgender** Awareness Week is aimed at student education and consciousness of transgender communities and experiences. Through community gatherings, educational presentations, and performative art, we seek to create critical discussion about transgressing gender.

Throughout the week we will be tabling on the HUB lawn and passing out FREE T-SHIRTS! Please stop by one of our events, our tables, or the Q Center (450 Schmitz Hall) to get your free t-shirt!

**Transgender is an umbrella term used to describe gender variant people with identities, expressions and/or behaviors not traditionally associated with their assigned birth sex.**

Here is a list of our events: ALL EVENTS ARE FREE!Collapse )

Subject:POP
Time:12:42 pm.
So I'm kind of technologically challenged. I just got a gmail account and am wanting to forward my uw email to that, but I can't seem to find the POP server. Does anyone know what it is/where I can find it?

Thanks in advance.

Subject:Looking for Apartment-mate (Steven's Court)
Time:6:50 pm.
Hello,

I'm a one of 4 males who have signed up for an apartment in Steven's court, since all the 4 room ones were taken, we took a 6 room.

Last time we checked, there was still one spot in our 6 room apartment, so if you are a steven's court applicant who is looking for apartment mates, read on:

We're a fairly quite bunch, but not anti-social. We're looking for a non-rowdy, easy to work with apartment mate.

So if you're interested, let me know, and try to sign up for apartment D154.
(Worst comes worst, we might have a chance to switch you with someone who is less... desirable as an apartment mate?)

If you are a loud, inconsiderate jerk, please stay away... :-P

Subject:Bake Sale at Eagleson Hall!
Time:10:08 pm.
The Speech & Hearing Sciences students are having a bake sale tomorrow from 11:30am to 3:00pm. You can find yummy treats at Eagleson Hall (inside the lobby or outside on 42nd/15th if weather permits) or at the Speech & Hearing Sciences Clinic. Everything is 50 cents/one dollar (or so it seemed from when I stopped by today). I had the best chocolate chip cookies ever for 50 cents...it was rad. I baked some mini cupcakes to sell tomorrow so you all should come buy them because they're good:

I made "Husky" cupcakes (mini chocolate cupcakes with purple cream cheese frosting and yellow sprinkles), peanut butter cupcakes (chocolate with peanut butter cream cheese frosting), coconut cupcakes (chocolate with cream cheese frosting and coconut sprinkles), and even some plain ones.

So when you go grab lunch on the Ave, stop by and pick up some yummy treats! I think the proceeds go to benefit the UW chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. Who cares. BAKED SWEETS! is the important part.
