UW student in CNN article about HP

Totally random:

A generation says goodbye to Harry Potter

Makenzie Greenblatt, a 20-year-old student at the University of Washington, began reading Harry Potter in 1999 when she received the first book in the series for Hanukkah. Back then, people barely knew the significance of a lightning-shaped scar when her friend's little brother dressed up as the boy who lived for Halloween. Now the cultural boom is inescapable.
Meeting someone who hasn't read the books, or at least watched a movie is weird for Terra Morgan, a 21-year-old University of Washington student who sat next to Greenblatt at the movie, wearing a Gryffindor-style gold and crimson striped scarf. For Morgan, Harry Potter is more than a book series.

I guess UW is just the place for HP fans.

Dance 101 Question

has anyone in here taken dance 101 who was clearly NOT a ballet dancer? As i sit here looking at my scheedule, I really have no idea how I signed up for this class and am starting to get a little worried at what will be expected of me at 8:30am MTWTHF. So anyone who's taken it, give me any insight on what to expect! How should we dress? Do we have to actually do ballet routines? How much do you need to know from the get? Must you be flexible? Should i just pick underwater basketweaving instead?
