MyUW says the last day to drop class without using yourannual drop is today, January 16.
Does dropping a class before the end of today mean it won't show up on my transcript? Or will it still show a W in place of the grade? If so, what's the difference between dropping a class now, without using one's annual drop or waiting until tomorrow or some other time in the quarter, and using one's annual drop?
If people have been take or will take pictures of the UW campus as a winter wonderland, they should share them in the community. I lack a camera and it makes me a little sad I can't share what my campus looks like with my aunts and uncles from other climates. Or to illustrate how wimpy we are to people from real snow states.
Please take pictures! Post!
Is it pretty bad (bad being relative to Seattle) in the U Dist. right now? Because I'm on caphill and looking out the window I'd "Suspend Operations" based on what it looks like, especially since people around here panic when the weather goes out of their comfort zone.
is anyone in the evening session of anth 321 (religion), the class that meets tuesdays only at 730? i missed last week, and so i do not have the syllabus and the instructor hasn't answered my email requesting one (or at least what i was supposed to read for tonight). it's a lecture class, so i'm not too screwed, but i'd like to have an inkling of what will be going on tonight if class isn't cancelled.
Has anyone found a really good tutor for either chemistry or physics (or both)? I am taking both series at once and I want to make sure I do well on tests because that's what so much of the grade is based on for both subjects. If anyone could point me in the direction of someone you know or have experience with, that'd be great. I found a few on craigslist that I've contacted and I was only able to find one ad on campus outside the chem study center.
Appreciate any suggestions.
A prof just forwarded this to the class and I thought I'd give it a little more adverstisment:
