If there are any people here who have fish tanks and don't want them anymore for whatever reason, please let me know! I want more fishies (which will hopefully be okay with our cats..), but money is way too tight for new stuff and I don't have time to travel to far off places that may be featured on Craigslist just now, so I was hoping that someone closer to my U-Distric home has either empty fish tanks, any perfipherals, or possibly even fish that they don't want. As I said, I don't have a lot of money, so I was just wondering if there's anyone who is simply looking to get rid of their fish stuff for little to no money in exchange... I realize this might be too much to ask for, but figure it's worth a shot!

Thank you thank you!

Transfer degree?

I'm wondering if there is any benefit to starting at the UW as a freshman, as opposed to getting a transfer degree from a community college. I'm probably going to attempt a business degree, if that is of any consequence.

notarized...? statement

Sorry for the slight off-topic-ness but.. I've searched the internet and dictionary and such and I can't find a good answer. Looking up notary/notarized did no good.

My question: what exactly is a "notarized statement"? I specifically need to get a "financial guarantee such as a notarized statement certifying that..". So can that just be, say, a letter that is signed and dated by my parents saying that they will guarentee to support me financially for xx period of time? Or does notarizing a statement have to do with doing something extra special to it?

much thanks!

i have a friend coming next week from out-of-state, and i was hoping to be pointed in the direction of some fun places to do/things to do. bars, restaurants, pretty much anything... sadly, i haven't done nearly as much seattle-exploring as i should have, and now i'm at a loss as to how to entertain her!
