Room for rent available

As a follow up to my earlier post about moving:

yes, indeed, i'm moving and that means my old room is available for anyone looking for a cheap place quite close to campus (52nd and 11th, nice area). The room is on the basement level, not huge but fits a bed, desk, bookcase, dresser, nightstand and all my shoes and still has space left for trash and messiness. Rent $325, that includes utilities and whatnot, no lease, $200 deposit, refundable (and that does mean "refundable", like, you WILL get it back unless you really trash the place). No pets, outside smoking allowed. Manager of the house is nice, landlord is responsive, etc.. If you're interested, comment or e-mail me at

annas7@u.washington.edu

I'll most likely be gone by the middle of the month, and definitely be gone by the end of April.

Any iSchool students out there?

Hi everybody! I just got my acceptance letter to the iSchool a couple of weeks ago, and Im really looking forward to getting back to the U after a five year hiatus. I was mildly surprised to see that there wasnt an LJ community dedicated to the iSchool, so I thought Id give a shout out to see if anybody over here is a returning/newly accepted grad student over there.

COM 359

Yes, I checked the memories, and there is already an entry for COM 359, but there were no comments made to it, so...

I'm debating taking it summer quarter to satisfy my last W credits and my last COM elective credits (I'm graduating after summer quarter).

Is it easy or hard? What kind of writing do you do in it? How much effort outside the class does it take to do well? Any additional notes or suggestions about this class are WELCOMED, please.

Thanks in advance!
