Subject:Hey Come Check It Out
Time:1:30 am.
Hey Everyone! (altho this is geared towards prehealth kids)

Just letting you know that the semi-new/returning student group Stonewall Med is having its first meeting for undergraduates today!

***Stonewall Med (originally just Med students, but now wanting to branch out) is a GLBT and Allies group that is looking into becoming an active undergrad/med student group. We have a lot of cool ideas about what to do with this group and if you think you might be interested in hearing them and bouncing around some of your own you should stop by.

***Today (Thurs.) Jan 26th, 4:30pm, HUB 3rd Floor Lounge

There will be free food!!!!

Can contact at Stonewallmeduw@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The Quiet American is Philip Noyce's adaptation of Graham Greene's acclaimed novel of international intrigue, set in Vietnam circa 1952 at the dawn of the imperialistic regime cum civil war about to outbreak, focusing on a love triangle between an English journalist, a Vietnamese taxi dancer, and an American "doctor".

Dahr Jamail, American independent journalist, has an important story to tell. Recognizing that Americans were being fed a sanitized, propagandistic view of the US occupation of Iraq, he went to Iraq to find
the truth. This is his report. After being unembedded in Iraq for over 8 months, he returned to the States to tell what he discovered.

No one turned away for lack of money. Sponsored by Youth Against War and Racism UW. For more information send an email to uw_yawr@yahoo.com
