I hate posts like these but I'm suddenly seeing their importance...

Does anyone have an old Intro to Geology book they want to sell me for whatever? I found out from the prof today that he doesn't care what edition of it it is (because they just put out a new one for $100 and that is just plain ridiculous), or even if it's by a different author. Technically speaking, I'm SUPPOSED to purchase the 4th edition by Chernicoff and Whitney. I'd prefer the 3rd edition if anyone has it.

Pleeeease help me out if you can. Or, you know, point me in the right direction.

Does anyone have a Life in the Universe book & activity book or a Language Files 9 book they'd be willing to sell to me?

I also have the books for Intro to Folklore - All Silver and No Brass, The Troll Tale and All the World's Reward that I want to get rid of.

WTS 1x [ResponseCard RF "Clicker"] 20G-- er... $20. PST

Yeah, the cashier at the bookstore mistakenly sold me one of these for Phys 121. I would return it, but the box is in a dumpster somewhere, so I'm looking to get rid of it here. The thing is pretty much brand new, and only $20 (they're sold for $33).

If you're interested, just reply to this thread and we can discuss payment via IM/email.

***Note: Despite all the responses, the item is still available if anyone wants it.

Advice from bio/microbiology majors requested:

Could you tell me how genome371 and genome411 compare? I'm taking both right now, and I'm wondering if they overlap much. I've taken bio180/200 and chem237, and a genetics class at a community college that they gave me credit for genome251 for. How does that sound background wise for the 411 (gene action) class? That's what they require as pre reqs, but the teacher asked about how many people had taken bioc4XX this and that questions- I barely remember ochem. Thanks...
