Time:3:04 am.
Does anyone know of any classes that still have open registration? I'm still shifting my schedule and would like to get it finalized today before the fee kicks in.

Subject:IMPROV!
Time:8:43 pm.
Heya Folks,

I’m pleased to announce that the Collective, UW’s best (and only!) Improvisation Troupe, is holding its annual auditions next week. The Collective has been a part of the UW since 1999, and boasts an all-student troupe that regularly performs at Hutchinson Hall’s Cabaret Theater. We’ve also performed at events such as Operation Husky Stadium, Relay for Life, and we are the only non-professional troupe invited to participate in the Seattle Festival of Improvisational Theater. We’ll be performing near monthly shows this year, and always manage to draw a packed house.

In addition, there’s a whole host of secret, zany shows that crop up around campus – but I wouldn’t want to spoil the fun, now would I?

We’re looking for a very limited number of people to replace those we lost to graduation last year. No experience is required, but we are looking for someone who is open to new ideas and meshes well with the group. In addition to our standard short-form, we’re going to be looking at long-form, creating more custom games, pantomime, and musical improvisation this year. Sound tempting?

Auditions are Sunday the 9th and Monday the 10th at 6PM in room 303. (Edit: In Hutchinson Hall. North campus, close to Balmer) Please attend only one audition. Callbacks will be on Tuesday.

Please bring a headshot or snapshot. No resume is required.

If you have any questions, or would like to join our show time mailing list, check our website at http://www.scriptsareforsissies.com or contact us at improv@u.washington.edu

Hope to see you at the audition!

Subject:Clothes and stuff
Time:11:01 pm.
Some area questions:
  • So which of the used clothes stores nearby is the best one to go to buy stuff, if you are looking for something colorful and funky?

  • Likewise, which used CD store is a good place to buy CDs?

  • And where would I get a cheap men's haircut (specifically, a buzzcut)?
(I did check the memories; there was something about more stylish women's haircuts; and a recent thread mentioned the best places to sell used clothing, but I didn't find anything that answers my questions.)
