Anybody on Greek Row wanna tell me what in the name of crap is going on out there???? There is chanting, and booing and it's all in chorus and it sounds like there are at least 30 people involved. And smashing noises.

Fast for Darfur, Sudan, Break-the-Fast Event!

Fast for Darfur, Sudan, Break-the-Fast Event!

Thursday, October 6th, 7:30pm at Hillel (on the corner of 17th and 50th near Greek Row and The Ave)

Join fellow UW students and faculty this Thursday to break the day-long fast to end genocide in Darfur, Sudan. We are asking people to give up one item or all food for the day and donate the saved money to Doctors Without Borders (Doctorswithoutborders.org)

See a photo exhibit and informational presentations to learn about the ongoing humanitarian crisis that YOU have the power to stop.

Since 2003 over 400,000 people have died by murder, starvation or disease and 2.5 million people have been forced from their homes in a state-sponsored genocide in Darfur, an area the size of France in western Sudan.
International efforts have been slow, relief work is threatened.

The violence and suffering continues. Together we can end this.

Isn't it time YOU got involved??

So, I currently have forty (40) packages of easymac in a box in my room. I don't like easymac. If you are interested in buying a large amount of easymac from me for a low price, leave a comment.

I've got a monday night phys122 lab, would anyone trade me for a wednesday lab sometime after 2:30? Not that spots aren't open monday, but there aren't any for wednesday... as an upside, I'd like to point out that you wouldn't have to turn in physics homework at the same time as lab.

Anyone know if this Experimental College class "Makeup Artistry for Fun and Profit" (taught by Brandy Payne) is any good? I don't want to waste 140$...

I have a favor to ask this community.

Are there any native/fluent Portuguese speakers out there?

I sing jazz, and am doing a bossa and would like to do it in the original Portuguese, because it's just sexier, quite frankly. Thus I am looking for someone who would be willing to help me out with the pronunciation.

I'm an Italian major, so I do have a background in another Romance language, which I'm hoping may help in some capacity.

Anyone out there who is able and willing to help me? I can pay you in yummy homemade cookies and gratitude!!
