Subject:A Redundant Issue
Time:12:05 am.
Hello Again!

I filled out my housing application a few weeks ago, but I keep getting the urge to change my choices. Initially I picked Lander because everyone made it sound so great and friendly... but mcmahon seems appealing as well for someone who's more interested in studying than partying. help!! what about the bathrooms? are mcmahon's that much better? i'm not interested in partying and i AM really seroius about studying, but i don't want to lock msyelf in a cave for four years.. or at least the first one. :)

Subject:UW business schools-- Bothell & Tacoma
Time:3:34 pm.
I've already applied to the UW Seattle business school for an undergraduate BA. I'm getting anxious about whether I will get in or not so I'm looking at other options, if that is what it comes down to.

So, my question: What do you guys think of the UW Bothell and UW Tacoma business programs-- in particular for the undergraduate BA degree?

I've looked at their websites and talked to a few people but it's not the same as hearing from actual business students who go there, so if by chance if there is anyone who attends either Bothell or Tacoma business schools, I would appreciate any input whatsoever.

Thanks a bunch and best of luck to all the prospective students that have applied :D

Subject:two questions
Time:5:44 pm.
Okay so I have two questions that I hope you guys can help me with.

First, I took this quarter off but forgot that I had to return my Upass, so now I have a $125 charge on my tuition. Anyone know if I can drop that after I return it and how I would go about returning it?

Second, I forgot to renew my locker at the IMA, but I can't get into the IMA because I'm not registered this quarter. How do I get my stuff back?

Thanks for your help!

Subject:its a long shot, but..
Time:6:29 pm.
so if you or a friend happened to come across an ipod shuffle in the chemistry library building in the last stall of the women's bathroom on the bottom floor sometime between 11:10 - 1:30pm, that would be lovely if you could return it back to me. it was my own fault but i'm hoping there are some kind souls out there.

DISCLAIMER: this post is not really UW related
sorry, but i am not very livejournal savvy and i don't know how to search for a community which i could post this in. so i am going to ask here.
I want to make a simple video and i have a video camera and i was wondering if anyone knows if i could take a video on that and then somehow get it onto a computer and then burn it onto a cd.
-also, with powerpoint, i want to make a slideshow of pictures and i want music in the backgroud. is it possible to do this with powerpoint?

Thanks, and again, sorry that this is not UW related. It's the best way i could think of to ask a big group of people.

Subject:airport parking
Time:9:13 pm.
at risk of being berated for being off-topic, i was wondering what the best (ie cheapest) method of getting to the airport is? i would like to keep my car there for four days but if i use the official airport parking, its 85 dollars. i most uw students are familiar with the seatac airport

Subject:Nils Osmar and the Experimental College
Time:10:43 pm.
There is a man named Nils Osmar that seems to teach the majority of classes offered through the Experimental College. I was looking at taking his "Exploring Color" and "Drawing for Absolute Beginners" amongst others.

Has anyone taken any Experimental College classes from him? Like them? Worth the price?

Subject:"Characters" at Univ of Washington Seattle
Time:11:37 pm.
Have you ever noticed the guy that walks around campus with the tail and the ears? Is he a furry?

It seems that UW has some funny characters and factions. Like the Tails guy, or the croquet people, or even the 'boffing club'. Whatever happened to those crazy duct-tape weapon wielders?

I suppose there are more characters that I haven't yet had the time to meet, but do you have anything to add?
