quequito estrellas

is it likely for an instuctor to overload? say... there's 22 enrolled and 24 seats, or 22 enrolled and 25 seats-- and they're both closed/full?
and if i'm to sit in on a class and try to waitlist (not even sure they do that at this school...do they?), what's the possibility that i'll get in (engl 131 or engl 121 if you're wondering)?

gear up .. again

Sorry, I know I already wrote about this, but just to make sure... So I'll most likely try to apply for a tutoring job through the Gear Up program and I know other ppl. said that the program itself is slightly iffy, unorganized, but the students themselves are great.. I was wondering, does the program only work with one local HS, or a few? And roughly how far are these schools by bus? I think someone mentioned about 1/2 hr- 45min? I could be wrong though...

.. or if someone has wads of money they want to give away.. I'll gladly take care of it.. haha, long shot, damn... man I don't understand why it is so ridiculously hard to find an on campus job, for me at least, .. I suppose my schedule doesn't work with theirs (amongst other things i know).. sigh..

Hope everyone has a good last day before school! ah!

x-post to seattle

Don't know if anyone out there would be interested in this, but I figured I'd post before sending the magazines to be recycled. :-)

I have random 2002-2003 issues of "Intercom". "Intercom" is the publication for the Society for Technical Communication (STC).

Some are still in the wrapper, some are not. I don't recall a time that I would have ever written something in one of the magazines, so they should be in good condition.

If anyone collects these and wants them, let me know at shalliedaire@gmail.com. I have approximately 20 issues. If you take one, please take them all.

Does anyone have a copy of Reading Context (one of the required books for ENGL 131) to spare?
I just found out I don't have enough cash for one from the U Bookstore, and I need it ASAP.

I'd love if you wanted to donate it to a poor ol' freshman instead of burning it, but I can pay a small amount if you need an incentive ;-)

ok, so i desperately need some help.

i need to fulfill a couple more credits with some non business courses (doesn't matter how many credits), but i have no idea what classes to take. can anyone suggest any fun classes or worthwhile classes to take? please?

also, under what category in the time schedule would i find classes that focused on film?

and! where do i find the instructor/course evaluations online? i'm trying to see which instructor/ta i should take my drama class from.
