I will be a freshman living in Mercer this Fall. I just wondered what you can use to hang up things on the walls? Do you use push pins, that sticky tape, etc....?
Any other info in dealing with Mercer would be greatly appreciated!!

Okay, let's break this down.

Let's look at the whole undergraduate population at uw- freshmen to seniors. Now, in terms of percentage, about how many students possess a car that they use to drive around in- especially students who live off campus. I'm living off campus this year (not too far from the UW, but...) and I feel split on actually getting a motor vehicle or just walking and taking the bus. I philosophically hate driving, so I was wondering if it is at all advisable for me to actually get a motor vehicle. However, it seems that one of the rites-of-passage with moving out of campus for the first time is possessing a motor vehicle.

I'm split on this. Truthfully, any comment regardless of relevance would be appreciated, I'm partially bored.

Ok all you hardcore kids.

I'm going to be a freshman in the fall and I need to get a band going at UW. If ANY of you like traditional hardcore punk- See: Buried Alive, Bulldoze, Lights Out, Mental, Agnostic Front, Sick of it All, Carry On, Earth Crisis, DESPERATE MEASURES, etc etc etc, you should reply.

I've played bass for 7 years and guitar for 4, and have gear for both.
I want to go for that traditional east coast stompy sound with tough breakdowns and lots of good fast parts.

I'm in Hagget hall. Please reply, I know you're out there!
