So I'm in English 322 (Elizabethan Lit.) with Streitberger for Autumn quarter. Any thoughts on this class/professor? Are there better classes/profs that I should take to knock out the "Period 1" requirement of the English major? It really is my least favorite area of literature, so I'm skeptical. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
It's been so hard to find open 300 level and above English classes lately...very annoying.
My ENG 198 description shows that the textbook I need is "A Pocket Style Manual" by Diana Hacker. However, I've taken a lot of English classes before, and I've already purchased "A Writer's Reference," also by Diana Hacker. Is the Pocket Style Manual really strictly required, or could I just use my other book, which seems to be quite complete? I would love to save some money, so please let me know if I can be thrifty in this case.
hey im a freshman and i just got my dorming info and i got mercer hall. everyone i talk to seems to be apologetic to me and say omg im sorry you got mercer, its supposed to be one of the worst ones.
any of you experienced dormers, could you tell in what ways mercer is bad? or does it live up to its bad name? or just anything about mercer in general? im getting kinda scared...
ok I'm taking art hisory 317, the tea ceremony one...and i was just wondering if anyone else had ever taken this class. And is it really worth it to go to off campus every week for just 4 credits?
Hey guys, I have another question for you all. I'm signed up for Precalculus, and on MyUw on the textbook page it says to "purchase materials at prof copy and print". Does anyone know what this means?? My friend is signed up for a business math and hers says the same thing, so I assume it's a general trend. Any help is much appreciated. You guys are awesome!! :-)
