does anyone know of good parking for cheap that if I were to drive over on monday and leave on tues night, that is close to the UW, I dont have to use my husky card, possibly under $10, where I wont have to go put more money in each day, and where I wont have to search for parking on the street for a half an hour?
My mom has made it rather clear that she doesn't want to cover the $40,000 a year for Stanford. Not to say I could even get in.
UW is my second choice. Can anyone tell me the school's positives? I am a little worried about the housing situation, for one. I also am afraid of the class sizes. How is everyone coping. Are there fun on-campus events? Are merit scholarships readily available? Thanks, I am about to enter my highschool senior year, and I am stressed about the future all of a sudden.
We live in a four bedroom duplex, but there are only three of us currently living here (one guy and two girls), thus our rent is a little steep. When we get a fourth roommate the rent will be $375 per month, we have a very spacious living room, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms. We have a washer and dryer in the basement and some extra space in the basement for possible social events etc, a one car garage, lots of closet space. We have to pay for electricity and HOT water, internet and any luxuries that we may want such as cable tv or food ;).
EDIT: The house is located right on 35th ave ne, so the 65 runs right in front of the house onto campus.
Just reply to this post and we'll get back to you.
