I am very frustrated. I hate the UW Spanish Department. I hate the Sociology Department. I hate the Communication Department. Why? Because the spanish department is confusing and nobody gives you any information that makes sense. I was trying to apply to go to Cadiz, but I can't figure out how to get a hold of someone about it. And, there is a rumor that the program is full because it is based on a first come, first serve basis. I am irritated because I wanted to apply by the deadline, April 1. I think it is unfair that just because I applied later that I will not be able to get in. Then, I look for other spanish programs in other countries and all those applications were due February 1. So I am fed up with this crap.
Next, Professor Weis in the sociology department doesn't care about anything, he won't do evaluations, and he continues to blab on and on during lecture making no sense, and not relating anything to his poorly edited textbook which contains over 40 pages of spelling and grammatical errors. The book has his name on it, so I consider him responsible for the editing.
Lastly, Communication classes are impossible to get into and the department doesn't seem to care no matter what your status is as a student, whether it be freshman or sophomore. I just think that they need to realize that it is important that some people take a class before they run out of time, like me. I will be a junior before I know it and I was debating on the COM major, but if I don't get into any classes, I will be VERY behind.
So, blah, I hate the UW pretty much. I don't want to go anywhere because I've been here long enough. I even have issues regarding residency, but we won't get into that. I'm just wondering, is anyone as frustrated as me?
