question about switching classes

I went into this quarter thinking I wanted to major in Business. But I'm starting to realize that I really don't. I'm signed up for Accounting and QMeth, and I really don't want to take them.

Anyway, this is mainly addressed to those of you who have taken CHEM 142 (that should be a lot of you): Realistically speaking, is it too late to switch into it now? If I add Chem 142 one week into the quarter, can I expect to be able to catch up, or will I be left in the dust, having already missed a bunch of stuff and caused irreparable damage to my grade?

So basically, is it better to just suffer through a quarter of difficult business prereqs that i will never use, or to change classes and be a week behind everyone else?

ACCTG 215 and QMETH 201 books/course paks here

Thanks for the input on my last post. I decided to take Chem 142 perhaps another time, because I also really wanted to take SIS 201, which I luckily got an add code for.

So, my follow-up question is:

Hey, wannabe business majors! Is anyone here in either Accounting 215 or QMeth 201 and in need of the books and/or the course packets? I had Sefcik for Accounting and Siegel for QMeth, and I already went out and bought all the course packets and everything for them, before deciding I hated both classes. I'll give you a deal on them, since I'm feeling saucy.
