Hm. Well. Stupid camera.

Yeah, I know I'm a bitch for this, but thought I'd ask anyway. Does anyone out there have any software that'll convert .cam files to .jpg files? Seeing as to how I don't, and my computer doesn't like .cam files, but my camera will only take pictures in that format. Anyone have the software that they can maybe...give? Yeah. Asinine camera.

I was very disappointed today when I used the restroom in the new Paul G. Allen Computer Science and Engineering Building. I actually had to touch the flush handle and the faucet, etc. where's all the high-tech stuff? I bet I could sit on the throne and post to Livejournal via wireless but afterwards i'd have to *gasp* manually flush the toilet...

am i the only one who thinks that having a big-ass ad for u-match on the uw info page is a bit messed up, considering that u-match is now associated with a rival journalling site (rival in the sense that it's drawn some folks — including dpb and jonah, this community's moderators — away from livejournal)? i don't mean any offense to david or jonah, but seems to me like it's not so much an informative thing as a big free ad for their website, and it shouldn't be the entirety of this community's description.

or am i just being silly? thoughts?

What exactly is the difference between a "computer integrated" English class, and other English classes? More specifically, I'm registering for English 111 tomorrow, and I noticed that most of the computer-integrated classes are filled up already. Why are they more popular?

what is the procedure for overloading a class? I found a photo class that i'd REALLY like to take... but it says taht there are already 13 people enrolled and the limit was 12... = / It's also one of teh ONLY classes that fits into my schedule. any ideas? I'm an AVID photographer and i own all of my own equipment (as the course requires) - so i'd love to take this class... but i'm worried about the enrollment/overloading. = (
