me B&W

(no subject)

Hey I'm new to the community and I just wanted to say hello. I just got accepted to UW, so I'll be going there in September. I just got off the waiting list, so is it too late to get a dorm?

So, I'm joining the herd...

I'm going to get a cell phone. Who has good coverage for Seattle? Who should I stay away from? What's the least I can get away with in terms of the actual phone? Please help me, all you experienced cell phone users...

Thanks, dudes and dudettes.

Rental house in Greenlake

I know a lot of people at the UW are looking for places to live now that it's summer. My friends are vacating a gorgeous Craftsman house in Greenlake. If you're looking for a nice place to live starting in July, I can't recommend it enough. Quick Facts:
  • 2 bedrooms
  • 1 bathroom
  • full house with yard and garage
  • No pets
  • 1.5 year lease
  • Available July 1
  • $1400/month (with move-in incentives available)
The garage is spacious (they were using it as a woodshop), there's a lot of usable space for gardening, and it's a quick walk to tons of great food/entertainment/recreation. The hardwood is beautiful and the whole place is great for parties because everything is connected.
