Did anyone see the charred remains (already covered by new ads) on the bulletin/posting board at the southeast corner of Gowen near the side entrance to Suzallo/Allen Libraries?

Mk, I warned you, so here it is.

Got plans for Saturday morning? If you don't, you should.

Announcing:

The Winderemere Cup / Opening Day
Hosted by the University of Washington Husky Crew
Saturday, May 3, 2003
Montlake Cut, Seattle WA
10:20 am - 11:40 am.

This is one of the biggest rowing events in the entire country... imagine 100,000 screaming fans in the Montlake Cut alone. This is a great event for Husky Crew, and a great tradition for both Seattle and the University of Washington.

Visiting Crews for the Windermere Cup in the Centennial Year of UW Rowing:

US Men's National Team
Canadian Men's National Team
Polish Men's National Team
Belarus Women's National Team
University of Notre Dame
Northeastern University

I recommend that you get to the Cut or the Montlake Bridge by 10 am for best viewing. There are 18 races, each started just a few minutes apart, and the entire racing event takes approximately an hour. AND IT'S FREE. There is not another race or rowing event like this anywhere in the world.

Check it out, and come support Husky Crew!
