    Friday, September 27, 7pm
    Chuck Palahniuk
    Reading & Book Signing
    UW Kane Hall 130
This tightly-wound thriller explores the idea that words actually can kill, as a journalist follows a trail of infant deaths on a cross-country quest to track down all copies of a "killer book." A strange, dark premise, but written with the trademark black humor of this bestselling author of Fight Club and Choke. Ticket Required - tickets available beginning September 15 at all our locations, while supplies last.
I guess tickets can be obtained (they're free, by the way) at the Will Call desk of the University Book Store on the Ave. The hardcover edition of Lullaby comes out on Sept. 17th, and will be on sale at the U Book Store for about $20. You cna also buy it at the event.

Have you guys checked out UWTRIBE before?

Right now it is down, but it is really cool, b/c it allows students off campus to access all the networked files on campus.

If you look at the site, you will see they are looking for someone who will be living in a dorm next year to host the server. So I just thought I would share, just incase someone wanted to.

Muah! That's so funny. I was like "hehehe that was such a lame story i'm going to laugh if he puts that in there!!" and he did ;) Too bad he didn't get to me later that night- then i coulda told the reporter, "This black guy came up to me all piss drunk and asked if I ever been with a black guy and then asked for my phone number" yeah- i felt v. disgusting!
