Lion & Thistle Scottish Student Association

If anybody out there is interested in celebrating their Scottish heritage - or if you just have a fetish for kilts, bagpipes, haggis, plaid clothing, golf, Gaelic language or any of the other trappings of Scottish culture - I'm starting a Scottish Student Association at the University of Washington. Anybody is welcome to join, regardless of your ethnic heritage. Since we're just starting, there really isn't anything planned - I need people first - but we can always have Scottish movie nights (Braveheart, Trainspotting, Rob Roy), or Burns' Night Dinners, Scotch sampling, music sampling (concerts? - Travis, folk bands), whatever we can think of. We can also look into the possibility of getting hooked up with local organizations like Slighe nan Gaidheal - they put on bagpipe workshops, Gaelic language classes, and stuff like that. If anyone is interested, drop me a line.
