The Rainbow Assistance Project at Verbena Health is a program working through Volunteer Chore Services to provide safe, free household help to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex elders and people who experience disabilities and/or chronic illness. Volunteers identify as LGBTQIA and are trained by both VCS and Verbena. Volunteers gain experience in social services, participate in our communities, and get the benefit of knowing they are truly helping.
