Leslie Feinberg:  Speaking at UW HUB Auditorium on Trans Day of Remembrance
The Q Center and GBLTC invite you to experience one of the great queer, trans,
global activists of our time, Leslie Feinberg. Leslie joins the UW on the 8th
annual Trans Day of Remembrance. Candlelight vigil to follow Leslie's talk. If
it is raining, we will meet under the Suzallo-Allen Archway.

Seattle, WA, November 20, 2006; 6-8 p.m.: Leslie Feinberg will appear in the
HUB Auditorium on Monday, November 20, 2006 (6-8 p.m.), in honor of Trans Day of
Remembrance. Tickets are free for UW students, faculty, and staff and available
at the Q Center and the GBLTC office. Community members may purchase tickets
for $4.00 from the HUB Box Office. The box office only accepts cash or check
and tickets must be purchased in person.
Leslie Feinberg, Transgender warrior and author (Stone Butch Blues, Transgender
Warrior, Trans Liberation, Drag King Dreams, Transgender Liberation), is a
celebrity in the activist, feminist and transgender alliances. S/he is a pioneer
in uniting the lesbian, bi, gay, and trans communities and in disintegrating all
barriers between the range of genders.
