I am going to be visiting UW next weekend (the 13th-15th) with my sister. She is looking at the undergrad programs in sociology and women's studies and I am checking out the graduate social work program for this Fall. Do any of you have any suggestions for things to do while in Seattle or on campus? We are staying in the U-district and will not be renting a car.
Other questions: Does anyone have any knowledge about these programs specifically? Are the faculty relatively accessible? How community oriented is the university? Is it very difficult to get on-campus housing for grad students and transfers? Anything else I should know about UW or living in Seattle?
